Everyone’s upset about Trump’s call to one soldier’s widow.  No one is outraged at the thousands of soldiers who have died and been maimed in preemptive, never ending wars of aggression.

They bought them; they’re theirs to do what they see fit with. If someone really have a problem with how someone else uses their property they can always make them a deal to stop or, if they can’t be reasoned with, kill them. But you can’t expect people to start acting how you want them to without some sort of incentive or threat. ”can you please” is neither of those. It’s a pleasantry by which people remind people who are already disposed to do things for them of that predilection.
