BRUH she’s going through it.

I was already happy to see someone do the trio x reader as that’s not done enough, but I also love Reeds!

Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but one of my fav things about the fic is that she actually seems attached to/doesn’t hate herself as a human. I mean, she definitely is upset at humanity for what they did to Earth and what they’re doing on Pandora, but she didn’t seem to prefer her avatar over her real body. When her human body dies, she got upset. One of the most interesting things to me about the avatars is that they’re still human, in avatar bodies or not. There’s a lot of bad in humanity but a lot of good too, most of which the Na’vi will never get to see, so I enjoy seeing a character have an attachment like that.

Also, the reoccurring theme of Reeds getting choices taken from her? Love. It hurts, but I love it. I’m curious if/how that will tie into her reaction to the idea of becoming their fourth, especially after Jake’s harsh rejection at the idea even without her opinion on it 😭 I imagine even if they tell her they truly want her, not just for duty, she’d have a hard time believing it now.

but UGHHHJH 🥺🥺🥺 I always love receiving anons like his. and you’re totally not rambling. ramble all you want! this was exactly what I wanted to portray and I’m so glad you guys caught onto that!

and yes, one of the things I wanted to make different about Reeds from, let’s say Tinkers (from TO YOU WORLDS AWAY) is that Reeds never wanted to be Na’vi. That was just not her focus and in her mind, she didn’t want to seem like she was invading by becoming one of them.
