3. What ideas come from when you were little

ooo!! okay nothing very like. structured, but as a kid i always looooved the idea of like running off somewhere with my friends where it would kind of just be like us against the world, or us doing an adventure together

when i was at a con, someone pointed out i really likes groups of threes in my artwork, and i think it opened my eyes a little lol. i think maybe that childhood fantasy could explain why i love to draw people hanging out, or even two ppl that are in their own little world (aka perfect for beatles, ninja turtles, p5r, etc)

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

ringo 🥲 the beatles are my favorite subject to draw right now cuz aside from the fact ive fallen into beatlemania, they have so much fun pictures and they play off each other so well, but man. i really struggle with ringo's face! ive definitely gotten better at it (thank you references) but most of the time i find myself always having to tweak something at one point a lot more compared to the other three

other subjects would be akira/ren from persona 5, any fate character that isn't enkidu, and oh suuper random but rooms are such a bitch to draw. like i know i just waxed poetic about it last ask but man they are hell!!!!!

8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in

oh my god, too many 😭 i always have at least one abandoned work for every fandom, but the one that stick out to me is this ivan and till comic set after the blink gone mv

it was looooong, like 6-7 pages, and it was kind of the aftermath of the round (like they ran off w hyuna or smth). i had the first two lined and colored already and had also redrawn composition soooo many times, it became more of a chore than something i was doing for fun. so i ss'd all my progress but deleted the file because i knew i would not be able to completely abandon it even though it was draining me

16. Something you are good at but don't really have fun doing

i still rly hate lineart 😸 i think ive gotten better over the years, esp if i'm rendering something, but its painful to try and clear up details because i draw very roughly and i tend to go wherever i want if that makes sense

i think im good at picking colors for lineart that would make characters pop a lot more but yeah its not always fun - even my most recent drawing with jp i was like redrawing lineart three times before i went this is not working! it feels more tedious than usual. im going to just paint, block it in, and try to fix it after, which i was lucky was in my favor cuz it helped with the dreamy atmosphere i was going for

19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)

i love drawing interior in general, more specifically aspects of like. a room well lived in? maybe its cuz i like sketching in my room and sometimes i need to take a break from staring at pinterest, but i really enjoy drawing desks filled with little trinkets on them (pen holder, some papers, rulers etc), messy bed, sticky notes on a mirror, etc.

items on their own dont really interest me but i really do love picturing them as little snippets of a life if that makes sense, like you can infer a person did it. a book on its own is boring to me but stacking it with others and making a bit of a mess, thats what makes them a favorite to draw

29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically

oh my god, i have sooo much interests that i just never really drew, not even a doodle cuz i just never got that itch

one would be succession which is still crazy to me because the show is very shakespeare-esq (right up my alley and perf for drawing), and also i was having so much fun watching eps as they came out. it was def smth i was actively keeping up with but yeah ive never even thought of doodling anything for it!

there's also severance and pluribus, where both are right up my alley and again, never got inspired or anything
