- from the moment roman was a young boy and his parents signed him up for guitar lessons he had fell in love with playing guitar; in fact roman’s first love was music; everything about it, he loved supporting local musicians, making playlists for every occasion, and especially making his own. 

- roman had grown up in a close knit family in rocky view, they always supported him to the fullest, always pushing him to follow his dreams even when he announced he didn’t want to go to university, instead he wanted to chase his dreams in NYC.

- him and 3 of his closest mates who had formed a band (in roman’s garage as teens just messing around) and they were all serious about making it big. they moved to the big city for more opportunities. 

- for the first couple of years they were all riding the wave of success; feeling like the decision was the best they made. though the more years that went by the more they felt stuck; but things were still good. they were playing steady in a couple of dive bars and they were making it by just fine; nothing more he could ask for. he had his dreams, his best friends (one of which being the second love of his life). 

- though nothing good could last; his picture perfect life was full of fractures. he was making it no where by only playing dive bars and his fiancé was cheating on him and how do you make it through a massive breakup while staying in the same band? roman was sure the answer was you cant which is why he packed his stuff up and crawled back home to his roots.
