He just got out of the apartments when he sees a shopping cart flying down the road and crashing straight into a wall.

Mikleo almost ignores the whole scene, almost, because honestly that kind of thing doesn’t faze him anymore, what with the whole month of him staying here and how he’s active in the Community Centre in his first week (what a way to show him just what kind of mess he got himself into). He’s a busy person, er, seraph, and he’s just out to get something for his goat baby when the whole thing with the shopping cart happens. Mikleo just stares at the mess, and when he sees the books all thrown about in the scene is when he decides he needs to go help that girl and make sure none of the books got damaged.

He approaches the girl, who seems to be elated about the whole thing (what a weirdo), and the first thing Mikleo does is gingerly pick up the scattered books and checking their state. Hopefully none got torn.

Lorelei rolls out of the turned over cart--still smiling at the adrenaline rush she just got.  It was hard to phase her due to the whole goat god thing.  If she did destroy one of the books on accident, it wouldn’t be hard to find some way to bring them back.  It worked on humans, why not books?

Not that she’d ever take the risk with the really good books.  She left those to the library.

Rika eventually stopped trying to antagonize her and just knelt down. Who the heck was this person? She’d never met anyone so devoted to being lazy, and was honestly a little impressed by it.

It took a while for Keahi to notice that one of the hosts was in fact not showing up. Was he actually… still… the ‘star’ of the square’s tree? 

“Augh.” Looking around in the crowd, she located Lorelei and dragged her off with her without much of a word. Surely Kano would be able to handle the situation without them two. Taking Marley from the tree was most likely going to take the two of them. And that is what it looked like when she arrived at the square–

Lorelei was impressed at his stubbornness.  “I don’t think he’s coming down.”
