I don’t think Logan honestly hated Wade, I think he just needed an outlet for his self hatred. And at a certain point I think Wade started to understand that.

Yeah, that beat of silence after Logan ended his yelling, and before Wade's very serious, very cold, but never menacing "I'm gonna fight you now", made me immediately think that sure, he was hurt, and sure, Logan struck a nerve, but more than this, Wade's threat sounded like he had decided, right there and then, he needed to give Logan an outlet, a safety valve, to get all that rage and self-hatred and self-deprecation out of his system. Through the only language they know.
