The sole survivor of a family of giant amphibious Pokémon from the Carboniferous. It has poisonous fungi and lichens of the time that are not found or grow anywhere else, which are toxic but also medicinal.
Bulbasaur's evolved form. Having firmer legs than its predecessor, it protects the youngest of its flock. Its fungus, now more colorful and larger, releases perfume and sap to attract insect Pokémon.
The evolution of Ivysaur. The lord of the marshes, as he's called, has a fertile mucus on his skin, where symbiotic organisms grow. His giant mushrooms release a fragrant mucus that can be either poison or medicine, depending on the dose.
