Hi it's me Rocks and this is my bug blog where I can blog about bugs. Probably mostly moths and some butterflies but ssshhhhh I'm sure there'll be other stuff. (Bugs to me are just any small critter that fit our bug image which includes snails, arachnids, etc.) I may also reblog bug things here we'll see.
My main is @rocksanddeadflowers
I am not limiting this blog to bugs, but the theme will relatively stay nature focused. Photos of plants, fungi, etc. I have an interest in vulture culture/taxidermy, but aside from collecting insects, it's mostly bones and small wet specimens. So:
⚠️cw/tw⚠️
I do intend on posting photos of dead things, mainly insects, small animals, and bones. Likely nothing gorey, but if that bothers you, tread with caution. I will try to properly tag dead things on this blog (but probably no tw/cw for anything other then photos of dead things) so if you think any of my posts are missing proper tags or warnings, feel free to let me know! Honestly it'll probably just be bugs and anything more then bugs like wet specimens will probably be under a cut.
If I haven't identified something in a post, or have misidentified something, feel free to tell me! Sometimes I might not have bothered, but usually (at least with bugs) I wanted to know the exact insect or bug I have. Even if it's not a bug, it's still fascinating to hear from other people :)
That being said I don't exactly expect much interaction on this blog I just needed a place to start cataloging my photos and maybe ramble about bugs now and again.
my original posts will probably be tagged #bug posting
pfp and header image are my own personal photos. idk where I found the mantis ring camera guy
