Thank you, that's so nice to hear! 😊 What works best for me is to start with a pretty clean sketch. Not too clean because then you will end up tracing instead of drawing. But clean enough so that you don't have to figure out how to draw something, you can just concentrate on the lines. Volumes are pretty important, I think. I use pretty big shadow blocks in my work because they work well with thinner lines. And it's always good to try different kind of pencils and brushes (or combinations of them) to see what works best for your style. I use digital markers combined with a dry gouache brush. Hope this helps!
