Rediscovered a sketch from my sketchbook and spent WAY too much time in clip studio to make this.

i've made some Handy Dandy Horror Guides to the Rusty Lake games! (non-cube escape titles will be in the reblogs due to image limit)

the criteria were based off categories from doesthedogdie.com, though a few were neglected due to their overwhelming presence, namely the corrupted souls. pretty much everything else there has no presence. note that the three meters are subjective and decided on a case-by-case basis rather than their relation to the franchise as a whole.

this staged affection, a mix of theatricality and intimacy, the couple holding still for a couple of moments and now immortalised in a very set sequence of embraces and kisses. there is a charm to it even when I can’t tell whether this was a genuine couple portait or just actors hired by the photographer.

let us start with the kiss on the cheek (eyes averted! oh the pose! these were taken between 1910-1940)
