it's done, it's done.... it is done. i have an adrenaline rush. a few tidbits under the cut.

it survived the washing machine and now my partner has a nice snuggly quilted wrap type thing, just in time for it to warm up for spring. it is machine pieced, handquilted and bound. i didn't realize until i was well into binding how much work i made for myself with all the extra edges, but it worked out well! i basted with an old huge fleece blanket we had laying around, so it should stay put for a good long while, but i do kind of want to add some ties in places, i think it would really pop.

this was inspired by @tru-makes-quilts Wonky Stars Wrap pattern, which i purchased and fully did not follow at all because the fabrics my partner chose were all over the place.
