The mystique of the Planar 0,7/50, shining for the NASA militance and the masterpiece of Stanley Kubrick, is much more intriguing considering the optical ancetres of the lens: when it was calculated, in early '60s, it wasn't drawed from the white paper but dusting off the wartime projects of superfast IR-Objektive used in cathode nacht-wandler for the nazi's weapons; in the following upgrading you'll find the unprecedented drawing of the precursor of this lens and of other similar wartime Zeiss lenses, unknown untill now, and for the first time an high resolution drawing of the Planar 50mm f/0,7 with the Kollmorgen converter used in Barry Lyndon, with all quotes last but not least, I added a series of snaps form Barry Lyndon's scenes where this lens was on strike.
We (Pataform) invited the Vienna based "Institute of Design Research Vienna (IDRV)" to hold their 5th Circle concerning “How to live - The Art of Sustainable Living” in the Space of Malzgasse12a.

As part of the exhibition “Tools for the Design Revolution”, we presented opportunities for assessing and improving products in terms of their social and environmental sustainability. Central to this was the “world formula”, which results from dividing the world’s available key resources by the world population. For us as design researchers, the next logical step is to ask: how should our way of life be designed based on the aforementioned equation?! The alternatives should not be escapism or exit scenarios, but rather viable cultural approaches for a sustainable form of society, integrating many existing initiatives and ideas and thinking ahead. This reorientation of values will be focused on such questions as: Which new qualities will take shape? How does art reflect the interaction of climate change and society? Which options will be sketched out here? What does it take to get away from the sacrifice debate? What might signals of optimism for a culture of sustainability look like?
Guests: Christoph Breuer, KAIROS Impact Research and Development gGmbH, Bregenz Nunu Kaller, blogger, self-experiment “A Year Without Buying Clothes,” environmental activist, Vienna Maren Richter, curator and art critic, Linz Moderated by Harald Gründl, design theorist and director of the IDRV; designer (EOOS), Vienna.

Ingoing Solo Show "CHRONORAMA" @ ReTramp, Berlin
My brand new timescan triptych @ Felix Leutner Photolab: Shot back in 2011, the most complex time based work I have ever done. The whole “urban art forms electronic music festival” compressed in three pictures. Consisting of more than 11000 photographs taken over a period of 7 days. Paired with three installative objects especially crafted for my "chronorama" solo show maybe the most complete approach to chronophotography after 6 years…
Exhibition in a car: installative objects, photographs, tools, beer & wine on the way from vienna, austria to my solo show "chronorama" in berlin, germany.
