ROAH

ROAH is a single player, point-and-click mystery game where you step into the shoes of Jorah Daoud: an archaeologist who finds himself in the middle of a crime investigation in New York City. 

+ Explore items in each scene to learn more about the mystery shrouded in ancient Egyptian sorcery.  + Solve puzzles to find important clues leading you to the next step.  + Talk to characters and choose your responses. What you say may affect your future opportunities.

Storyboards

Example player experience of Ark gameplay. This storyboard features the main components: character movement, puzzles, camera perspectives, interactables, dialogue. This is the first level in Egypt and is meant as a tutorial. Jorah wakes up in his office forgetting his computer password. The objective is to find the note containing the password to solve the simple puzzle.

Jay Parker

Engineer, age 30

A craftsman and engineer with a very particular set of skills. Jay was a hard worker during his involvement with the mythology club, and even participated in the Egyptian ritual that granted them exclusive powers. However, despite always putting in double the effort, he was not blessed by the gods’ powers. Seemingly the outcast, Jay Parker turned bitter and vowed to gain immeasurable power someday.

He continued researching the gods, particularly the god of death Anubis, and eventually was able to broker a selfish pact: the lives and organs of his old friends in exchange for power vested within him. Using his skillset, Jay devised a plan to kill and take a unique organ from each of them, to use as sacrifice in an ancient ritual involving canopic jars.

Ben Williams

Entrepreneur, foodie, age 31

In university, Ben was always the power-hungry, dominant leader type. He was head of the mythology club. Super intelligent. Morally ambiguous. Kind of arrogant in the way he approached and treated others. He looked out for himself first and foremost since his bluntness allowed him to act with pure confidence.
