It’s really so funny and transparent reading reviews for taylor’s albums bc there’s almost always a bias there…. whether they’re being misogynists or they simply don’t take her seriously bc she started in the industry so young and writes about boys like ?? it’s all so condescending and twisted. they expect SO MUCH from her. the bar is so high for her. other pop girls (ariana, gaga/etc) don’t have to jump through all the hoops that she does. they could put out the most generic and boring album and it would get 4 and a half stars…but taylor ? constantly reinvents her music, blends and jumps genres, writes and produces… but yeah she writes songs about boys :( we can’t take her seriously :( we can’t respect her as an artist :(
