watching twitter implode in realtime is definitely funny but also anyone else utterly disgusted at the fact that one billionaires temper tantrum cost thousands of people their jobs, countless more across its userbase and is destroying what is one of the biggest websites on the internet? one guy. literally one single fucking guy who couldn't just admit to a fuck up and is taking the whole thing down with him because of his big mouth. its one guy and he has enough money to just tear down the website. one guy.

I want time to be quiet. I want a week where there’s nothing expected of me. I want some light snowfall. I want a home I can rearrange the furniture with every season. To bring friends over to be warmed by the fireplace. I want to paint the walls. I want to curl into you until I feel my hurt fall asleep. I want to pluck rosemary from the windowsill. I want to feel comfort again. I want so much space in my heart for the light to fill.

good morning to people who still use wired earphones only

oh to be 10 and turning on my nintendo ds lite, opening nintendogs, and methodically feeding and giving water my puppies to then walk them, paying close attention to the unmarked presents on the street (whose locations i’d pretty much memorized), going to the park to train frisbee with them, getting home and after walking all three of them selling the extra stuff i got because i wanted to be nintendogs rich, and then after all that was done, oh to go to the tournament and keep my pup’s streak of 50x first place in the agility championship, and after that was all done, put on the record that made them sleep, save the game and turn it off, happy and accomplished and ready to do it all again the next day.
