the rain pattered against your bedroom windows. the ambiance it provided was all you could hear, aside from the frantic thrum of your pulse. leon smelled of fresh laundry and your shampoo. his hands were warm as they cupped your face.
you had practically pounced on him after his shower. his hair was still damp and his skin tender from the hot water. but you couldn’t help but press your body against his.
his touch was gentle, almost reverent as he pressed his forehead against yours. his blue eyes stared into yours, as if he were trying to look into your soul. but then his lips connected with yours again, growing deeper as it shifted from tentative to something heavy and desperate. it didn’t take long before you were both stumbling backward toward your bed.
he breaks away for a second, breathless. his eyes were dark and clouded with a mix of adrenaline and arousal. leon looked at you, then his gaze flicked to the shelf behind your head.
a row of plushies stare back at him with beady, plastic eyes.
leon pauses, a red flush creeping up his neck. “hold on,” he muttered.
he doesn’t answer. instead, he reaches out for the stuffed bear and pivots it 180 degrees. then the frog. then the hello kitty. one by one, until they’re all facing the wallpaper. leon sinks back down above you. his hands gently hold your face as he kisses you softly.
“they don’t need to see this,” he whispers, a shy smile tugging at his mouth. “private business.”
before you can tease him, his kisses began to trail down your neck, making it very clear that he’s done talking.
