I always go out of my way for people, I always try to make certain days/events special so at least they feel loved but when it’s my time, something always goes wrong and I always end up alone. Yesterday just made me realise how much energy I’ve put into a situation that was never valued and I’ve accepted that it will never change. The things I was mentioning and referring to, I had no right referencing because if people truly cared, their actions would always override their words and I would have nothing to complain about. I was always warned about people who misunderstood the concept of reciprocated energy but never thought I’d be foolish enough to linger this long and allow them to take advantage of me as much as they did. It’s all a lesson after all, so I’m grateful I know the signs to look out for in the future and regardless of anything, it won’t decrease the amount of love I have inside of me or turn me cold, if anything, I makes me excited to love hard when the energy is finally reciprocated through the right people.
