Roster Acceptance Notice !
Due to technical difficulties, my photoshop has repeatedly crashed to the point that I’m unable to use it and create graphics. I’m looking into how to fix this and if I’ll have to create new graphics using a different program, but for now, please bare with me as I post text acceptances!

Soundbox Studios opened its doors in 1997 in the middle of Myeong-dong in the Jung-gu district, as part of a community initiative to help budding dancers grow in the streets. Many of the teachers are dancers from all backgrounds - whether it was by dance academies or from the Underground - providing aspiring dancers the education in the art that they cannot find any other means to obtain than at Soundbox.
All of the classes are drop-in and on a first come, first serve basis, but our teachers will never turn away students wanting to learn from them. For a small price, the money will be divided between the studio and the teachers on a 50-50 basis. Some of the teachers have been students at Soundbox before moving up to a higher position with the Soundbox team.
Occasionally, there will be choreographers visiting from other countries or other studios. All that the Soundbox Studio staff ask are common courtesy and respect for the team, fellow students and the facility. During off hours, the studios are available for use for free as long as permission has been granted at the registration desk.

Hello everyone! I know it’s been a while since Soundbox was active and had been closed due to Jinkyung wanting to focus on her training. Since she was the last RK member in the studio at the time of her departure, it seemed like it was time to close. However, she has returned back to the studio back in January, and the schedule has been revamped since then. If you’d like for your character to be a student - no strings attached! - or become a teacher, check out the blog or message @jinkyungxrk for information!
Graduation Announcement
As you might’ve noticed, there was no Soundbox event in November 2017. Hyuna was not available to help plan an event, along with the return of Kwan and InSu from the army after two long years. While Kwan and InSu have returned to the Soundbox roster to teach and choreograph alongside Dahae, Hyuna has made a decision to step down from the Soundbox staff and turn her focus onto training under Nova Entertainment.
For those wishing to see her teaching one last time at Soundbox, her final class will be on Saturday, January 6. These four long years with Hyuna have been a wonderful one and we’re glad to have had her on our team.
We wish her good luck on her journey.

Hi everyone!
This is super late, so I’ll just make a posting about this in regards to holidays. Classes do not run during holiday season, so these can include the following for 2017:
Seollal: Jan. 27-29
Independence Movement Day: March 1
Memorial Day: June 6
Liberation Day: Aug. 15
National Foundation Day: Oct. 3
Chuseok: Oct. 3-5
Christmas Season: Dec. 24- 25
New Years: Dec. 31-Jan.1
If your muse was scheduled to work on any of these dates as a dance teacher, you will receive holiday pay, which is an extra 500 won per student, depending on the average amount of students you get in a month.
ie. If a teacher gets 35 students, the following week is 37, the week after is 33 and the last week in the month is 34. That would mean they averages 34 students in a month. That would be an extra 17,000 won towards their rate per student. That would result in a holiday pay of 357,000 won.

In the midst of updating Soundbox lists, we are in need of a dance teacher for Girl’s Hip Hop! The class runs every Monday from 8 PM to 9:30 PM. On average, you could be teaching 35 students (sometimes more, sometimes less). The class fees are typically 20,000 won, with half of the fee going to the studio and the other half going to the dance teachers.
If you’d like to apply to teach this class, please fill out an application and send it to the front desk to be reviewed by the studio manager, Dahae!
We’re also looking for a teacher for Intermediate Hip-Hop! The class runs every Tuesday from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. All students registered in this class are currently NPCs.
We are also looking for another staff member to join us at the front desk!
