My friend Cydney’s teacher believed THIS was ok to put up. It’s transphobic as fuck, and the schools gone into a whole riot about it. People are getting horrifically upset about her. Her girlfriend’s brother is trans, and both are getting hurt by this poster.

NOW despite the fact like half the school is arguing against it, their teacher STILL will not tear it down. She believes this shit is ok. Cydney tells me they’re are now debating on trying to get this on the news.

Now I, someone who is a transmasc nonbinary student, along with all of the friends she told this too, are LIVID about it. And I told her I’m posting this on Tumblr.

That there are evil/ bad people that do evil things for the sake of doing them. And it’s not because they “just don’t know better”, most do know better.

Shopping channel stuff.

If there’s household stuff that you struggle with, for whatever reason, you should probably check out the shopping channels.

A lot of the stuff advertised on those channels is designed for various disabilities, it’s just not advertised as such.

Like, I can’t really use sharp knives for cooking. I don’t have the fine motor skills to use them safely.

But my mum bought a Nicer Dicer from the shopping channel, and it completely removes any danger for me.

Of course, it pretty much can’t be hand-washed, and it’s big, so it’s a pain in the dishwasher, but if I can’t get pre-sliced veg, it’s great.

She just bought a new hoover as well that’s a lot more light-weight and maneuverable than the Dyson one we’ve got, and I can finally actually use it with my dyspraxic arms.

Plus it’s quieter, so my headphones block the noise better.

There is a serious problem of disabled people feeling unable to use assistive technology because they’re not disabled enough, or because they have to prove that they can do things to abled standards because that’s what society pushes on us.

Not to mention people with undiagnosed disabilities, who would feel that using the thing was appropriative.

One of the ways to get around it (and admittedly it’s putting a plaster on a gaping axe wound, but it’ll have to do for now) is to sell the thing to everyone. Like fidget cubes becoming trendy with everyone, but being primarily designed for ADHD.

It widens the target market, making the product more viable, and it doesn’t specify which disabilities it’s for, so ones they don’t think of don’t get left out.

Also, often they are handy for everyone. A lot of these tools can be used more easily with one - or no - hands, which could be helpful for, like, new parents who have a baby to hold while they do things, and numerous other people. Having a Tassimo requires less work than making coffee from scratch (and I’m less likely to spill things), does that make it a disability tool? What about Kindles? They’re lightweight (easy on people with a weaker grip) and help with dyslexia and visual impairment. Are they disability tools?

And let’s just take a step back from how ableist the term “Lazy Morons” is because I have things to do and don’t want to be here for eternity. But I’ll stick links one and two here if you want an explanation.

But, yeah, to wrap things up, you giving people flack for using these things sounds like a you problem, not a problem of advertisement.

Like, there’s no two ways around it, that’s just mean? That’s just a mean thing to do? Were you not taught that making fun or people was bad in, like, primary school? Even I was taught that, and everyone at my primary school smoked and had knives…

Well apparently not for Lustyfer_ himself, who then took it in his own hands after he found out that I had outed him (most likely because I tagged the post with the ddlg kik tag and he was probably scouring for more victims and found it…) Thats when he decided to send ol’ Mister a little message:

1.) There wasnt anything passive aggressive about what I wrote. I made it plain and clear that he was a predator and a pedophile, and that he was abusing littles online.

It should also be noted at this point that in the group chat, he messaged her without asking (breaking the rules) and she also told him upfront that she was underage to avoid getting any kind of suggestive messages or pictures from him. Oh and she did that well before this post:

Someone PM’ed me for binding tips, so I thought I would share them here.

In my opinion, the best and most comfortable binders are from here!! 

If you are unsure what size is best for you (for example if you are between 2 sizes), go for the bigger size rather than the smaller one. It’ll be more comfortable, especially for people who aren’t used to binding!!

Also some people prefer full length binders, but I find that they aren’t very good for bodies with more hips or belly fat. Cause longer binders will roll up in those cases! I have, however, heard that long binders are good for people with fuller chests because the binding panel is longer.

As for binding safely, try not to wear your binder more than 8 hours per day (I know sometimes it is impossible) and let your body breathe when you are at home :)

As for aesthetics, white/pale binders get gross-looking, like most white clothes lol.
