His parents moved their family to Los Angels when both him and his sister were young. They wanted a good life so pushed their kids on auditions, any thing they could do they did. They started off with TV adds and background characters. But soon enough River landed his first tv role. He was eight years old and was one of the main characters on classic family show. He was one of the main characters and spent six years and 5 seasons on that show. But as him and the cast got older the fad faded and the show ended. He spent a good part of his childhood in front of cameras.

He did few guest starting roles and small movies as he started his teen years. But soon got into parting and using the fame and money he made over the years. He got into a lot of things and he used his money to do whatever he wanted as his parents used up a lot of his earnings too. He started by going to parties and drinking underage. That lead him using anything he was offered. He quickly got lost in that party world.
The money he earned for years was drying up quickly with his actions. His parents did their best to help him but he was so lost in the world he just fought with them. They were done with him and he ended up living with friends and on couches, hotels and any place he could get. He had times he sober up enough to do some events to make money.
But after few years his fame, the fade he was ended and by the time he was eighteen it was all over. Most had moved on and forgot about him. He did start to cut back on what he was using trying to work any job he could get. But an arrest lead to a rehab stay when he was twenty four. He was there almost a year as they helped him get clean and helped him get his life back on track.
He had family that was in the Vermont area and took a lot of time to make his way there and find a new home. He found a job so he could get a place to live and is still trying to get his life back on track. It was hard at first he took some time to find some of his family. But once he did it helped him start to feel better to know what family was and to be loved by them.
He was able to have a small apartment and a job at the bowling alley, so he was just getting by. But a storm in town caused River to get hurt so he was unable to work. This caused him to stay with the town mayor Nathan for a few months while he was healing. But during this time he lost his apartment. Thankfully this was when he ran into his uncle Andrew. Who quickly took River in and helped him get better.
River struggled to find work once he was healed and was trying to work when his father came to town. It was hard to see the man who had used and hurt River for so many years. River did end up asking his father (Robert) if he ever cared about him or loved him. That ended in Robert telling River he never did. It set River off he went off to drink and use some pills in the city. Coming home to Andrew he was quickly sent into rehab.
It was very hard on River, and he struggled with it for the first few weeks. Soon he was able to start working on getting his GED since he never able to go to school do to his father's actions. It was hard and he did have to study a lot but in the end soon after he got out of rehab, he was able to pass his GED.
It was River's goal to get a job to leave them so he could be out of their way and on his own. He soon started school to become an emergency medical technician and had a few months of long and hard studying.
Once he graduated from EMT school he was able to move into Andrew's old apartment and is working hard to get his life going. One without his history and needing help from others. He's been happy and starting to think of working on his personal life. He's thankful to have his many uncles in his life now and is really learning to know what love and family is for the first time in his life.
He has been working as an EMT for almost a year now and is happy but still working on himself and going to his therapy and group meetings, knowing how much it all helps him. But his life changed again when his sister Aurora showed up. It was a shock to River, who never thought he would see his siblings again. She had left their parents and now found out the truth about what happened with River. She now lives with River, and he's happy to have his sister Aurora in his life again. River is now starting to think of himself and getting out in the world to meet someone to make him happy.
He had been working hard and full time, saving up money, planning to go back to school to become a paramedic. But he don't want to lean on his family or anyone to do it. So he knows it wont be easy but will be worth it. River still struggles with his emotions and has a hard time at night being alone. He has no luck getting out there and is hoping the right guy is out there for him.
It took some time and meeting people, but he started to go on a few casual dates. A few lead to nothing, a guy leaving or finding someone else. He's just working hard to finish up school to become a paramedic.
