Right. I mean, they’re fine. But I’d hardly say they’re the most delicious food I’ve ever had. Honestly, I think I’d rather just have a good selection of wine and cheese instead.

I think you may have not had the right wings. Wine and cheese sound nice too, I suppose. I’m more of a whiskey girl myself, but wine has its moments.

I also can’t resist a good chicken wing. When you get all the bones together, they create such a beautiful piece. Where do you get your chickens? 

I have never understood the love of these, though I am vegetarian. What about them makes you love them? I find myself curious.

No pain no gain or whatever John Cena said. All that means you deserve to treat yourself with some chicken wings. And now I want chicken wings. They are tasty though I have more of a cheeseburger addiction myself. Venison too if it’s after a I’m feeling classy.

Well, I’m not sure who John Cena is, but I’m pretty sure he’s a fan of Jane Fonda’s workouts if he says that. Go get yourself some chicken wings! Cheeseburgers are also a great indulgent meal. When I’m feeling classy, I’m a fan of kobe beef burgers myself. Sometimes the whole night runs in the middle of nowhere thing works up an appetite.

Interesting. Is there something about chicken wings specifically that makes you lose control?

They’re he most delicious. I think that’s what it is. The bone has to be cleaned. It’s a weakness...

Why would you ever wish for that? Eat ALL the chicken wings. Eat so many wings they give you wings. 

To save myself the pain of it all. I’m an educated woman mid thirties right around the corner, I should know when to cut myself off. But they’re so damn tasty. I have regrets, but I will do this to myself again.

Wow, that’s quite an impressive list! I’ve been to a few of those as well. And please, I don’t mind at all. Though can I ask, how did you like Nepal? My mother was from there and I visited a few years back.

What’s that now? You’re not sure who Queen is? That is tragic. They were/are really really great, especially around the right time in the lunar cycle when I’m feling pumped, legendary even. That we do.

Nepal is absolutely beautiful. I’m a sucker for the mountains, so I spent a lot of climbing the Himalayas. It’s breathtaking, so peaceful. Architecture is old and beautiful, my favorite kind, culture is rich, food is good (very important). It’s wonderful there. I was in Bagmati mostly but I got around a little.

Ah, I see. I suppose the same could be said for me– I spent so long only trying to accomplish one thing that once it was over I wasn’t really sure what to do with myself. But it’s nice, you know, to take time to yourself. To discover other parts of who you are or could be. It’s sort of why I’m here in White Crest, really. And why I want to stay Where all have you been?

I can’t say I eat cookies often enough to know which is better, but I’ll take your word for it. Existential crisis or not.

Think we just have to want to break free, like Queen. As long as we are here (in the grand sense) there is time to make whatever changes we want. That’s sort of why I landed here too, that and my niece who’s around here somewhere, I hope. I have spent time on 6 out of 7 continents. But I’ve only been to about thirty countries. I’ve been to Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Mozambique,the Congo, India, Japan, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Haiti, Brazil, Mexico, Honduras, Peru, Venezuela, New Guinea, Australia, Tonga, Kosovo, Spain, the Ukraine... I missing a couple... but you probably didn’t want a list that long

Yes, sometimes knowing what you are too soon almost seems to force you to be that, no matter how you feel. I can understand that. Do you go on many journeys, then?

Not that I haven’t loved my work, it’s just completely defined me for so long, I’ve been so wrapped up in it. I haven’t been able to discover the other parts of who I am. I go on a journey every day. But I’ve gone on quite a few distant far off journeys. I’m pretty sure my wolf prefers it that way. 

I may have made that up... Also it should probably be warm cookie because warm cookies are the best. I have to rethink my entire existence now... Juuuuuust kidding. But, yeah I may have made that up. Well, I’m impressed nonetheless.

You could even get him a bow tie to make him even more distinguished. Wait but speaking of frogs. I actually just got his hat for my dog, and I think you’d enjoy it. Maybe you could even get one for him. 

I mean you won’t know whether or not there’s a work industry for cats if you don’t try and look. 👀

Haha, well at least you know Pup’s true weakness. Just in case he ever tries to stage an uprising.

Oh and I love that hat. If I get my dog named frog it’ll be a must have.

That is true, you never know anything for sure until you try/research. Except I know with almost certainty that Pup is not interested in working anyone’s job.

That’s so cool! Holy crap. So you travel all over and get to learn about history and culture. So freaking cool. I… don’t have a great answer for you. I have no idea what I want to do with my life, but I’d love to do something that involves history. 

So nice to meet you, Mel. Seriously. Like so so nice. This is so cool. 

Even if it’s like an unhealthy obsession or…? Fair. I am literally free any moment of any day. Ever. I mean technically that’s not completely true. Because I have school and a job or whatever. But I can move things around. Because it’d be super cool to talk. I actually just changed some things, so I’m double majoring in history and mythology. 

I travel, study, I document, it’s a fracking good time. I’m glad you find it so interesting, you’d be surprised how many people think travel and go right for vacations and spas, not going to dig sights and cataloging artifacts. The idea of the latter seems to be “boring” for some. I like to think I must be more imaginative than most. It’s always an adventure. But, I want to warn you, so you’re not disappointed in the future, I am basically the opposite of cool. But I let my nerd flag fly with pride. Being unsure, definitely included in the valid answer category. Try out all the things that excite you, and the thing or things you’re meant to do will stick.
