Just my personal opinion:
I DON'T like it when some authors, specifically and some on Wattpad, do the wrong ship tags or use the RIVAMIKA tags for click baiting. They put the Rivamika tags because there is "rivamika" things BUT ACTUALLY IT'S ABOUT THEM BEING SIBLINGS. I hateeee when RM portrayed as siblings so much🤭. I always thought when authors uses RM tags because romantic things going on or platonic thingszzz.
I'm so thirsty for RM fanfics in the Wattpad then I've come across this nicely done book cover with a Mikasa on it and an excellent summary. The summary of the book ONLY mentions Mikasa. So yeah I thought the fanfic will contain Rivamika since the tag said so~. There is also the tag of the holy, gracious and beautiful ship ever that I ever see throughout my existence in this world called Ere//Miks. So I'm a bit hmmmm, I tried to read the ending, probably the ending will be RM rather than that holy grail of a ship🤪. If it's RM then I'm gonna read it.
Then after that, I discovered Rivamika was portrayed as a sibling. I could hear my heart cracks into thousand of pieces like broken glass. I shouldn't expect a lot *sigh.
I understand if the author does the RIVAMIKA tag if the ship was not a major one; maybe example, Mikasa was in ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP with Levi in the past as the story progresses, and in the end, she's now moving on with Connie. Then that's fineeee since Rivamika was mentioned in romantic ways or maybe in platonic. BUT NOT NOT NOT NOT IN FAMILIAL WAYS OKAY like siblings or uncle-niece or more father-daughter.
