It was late again. The kind of quiet hour where the streets were empty, save for flickering streetlights and the distant hum of traffic. Inside, the fluorescent lights buzzed softly overhead, casting a sterile white glow over linoleum tiles and humming machines.

He was there.

Same seat. Same posture. Still unreadable. But tonight, he wore a dark, heavy coat, likely military issue, neatly folded over his lap........
