[LBP - LBsA] special OVERHEAT drop
376 - Maxed out by Qugz
378 - Maxed out 2 by Qugz
379 - Maxed out 3 by Qugz
i'd been sitting on getting these re-archived for a hot minute, but honestly the first and second were such a pain in the arse, it took forever to actually sort out the recordings and editing.
They're all cut from the same cloth, using the same guideline of "let's fill a level wiv as much stuff as possible until the thermo maxes out," hence the name. Now, if you're building for presentation, and you've got a lot of stickers and materials in there, or you're just filling the level wiv collected objects, hitting the thermo max isn't really all that hard. Qugz, tho', has gone the route of building towards game play, and homemade mechanical bits, and that route makes for some very chonky levels indeed.
There's no real overarching theme or gimmick to the levels, they're just chockablock wiv stuff, and there's neat things in each one, tho' none of them are completely neat things, if that makes sense? The first level has some real issues wiv pacing, and there are a few spots that slow down an already long level to a real crawl. The second isn't too bad, but it took me forever and a day to figure out where Qugz had secreted the prizes in it, and i wound up having to strip it down in Create Mode. Thankfully at least, they were all in one secret, well-hidden room, and not scattered all over hell to breakfast. There was that first prize we see that as far as i can tell is completely inaccessible, and i'd love to know what was up wiv that. It's got a copy in the prize room tho', so we did, technically, get a 100% archive. Go us!...?
The third is probably the best of the lot overall. It's still really long, but it manages the pacing a lot better, so you don't really notice that it takes about 14minutes to finish. Also, no prizes in that one, which makes for a much easier recording session. All of them a worth a look at tho', just keep in mind you'll be there for a while.

Yeh, so took the day off yesterday, which was nice. There wasn't any real need for it, like, i wasn't sick or busy wiv some appointment? Like, just, somedays you want to be at home, you know? There was a really nice rainstorm that just pounded down in the afternoon, and i spent the day playing Dead Space 2 and listening to @paper-mario-wiki 's stream VoDs (which were really fun, and a nice way to busy your mind while helping Isaac DeadSpace achieve closure through ultra-violence). i've had far, far worse days off.
