"I hate men" ah well that's probably a sitcom-style joke, with eyes rolled, men am I right ladies. Harmless, sarcastic, they're just being ironic. In fact, this is really just infantilization of a female audience. No threat.

the framing of people vocalizing their problem with transmisogyny as aggression when a TME person is demonizing a group of upset trans women would be so insidious if it wasn't so predictable (yet people fall for it all the time, TME or TMA). It's a very obvious attempt at framing the victim of a misogynistic attack as the aggressor that would be obvious if it happened to anyone but trans women. This is something that only works because society has taught everyone to see trans women, the ones speaking up, as ontologically only capable of being the aggressor. Like, a big part of why there is any pushback is that these TME people built up their reputation as being safe for trans women, and this makes their behavior all the more disappointing and there is also an expectation that we'll be listened to if we reached out. This show of disappointment and attempt at reconciliation, both of which comes from a place of hurt as well as a place of needing to see these people as people who weren't just seeing TMA people on here as essentially disposable hanger-ons, is conceived as "dogpiling" and aggression.

the amount of stress that the monogamous people in my life have about dating is fuckin insane to me. like... the dangling sword of "i want to find a Permanent Exclusive Long Term Sex Romance Partner" seems to hang over every interaction once they cross the boundary of "just friends". like ohh i want to find my Soulmate but i dont wanna rush it but the clock is ticking. meeting strangers for a date and the entire interaction is colored by "do i want this person to be my sole source of Sex And Romance?". at what point are we exclusive? what counts as cheating? youre the only person i love so if i want sex or i need attention or to vent it has to be you or ill freak out.
