The walk wouldn’t be a long one, at the very least they had plopped him into about the right area. All she had to do was walk him over there, though his steps seemed to be taken with just the little bit of hesitation. Not that she felt offended, it was understandable that he would be cautious, especially to someone he just met and who apparently happened to be his roommate. The only thing she could do was clear his suspicions by actually showing that she told the truth.

"Hm…I believe it’s been about a month or so since I’ve been here. Although, there’s still a lot more I have to explore and research in the city."

"A month..? Do you know others who have been here longer? Is there a set time for how long one stays here? Or is it--"

Caesar stopped himself then, seemingly embarrassed by just how much he was asking of her.. Covering his mouth a moment, Caesar cleared his throat. He was a proud man, to say the least.. But even then, he knew he had inquiries that needed to be answered. Of course, they were roommates.. Weren't they? So he could always ask more questions later..

However.. There was just one more question he wanted to ask then.

"One.. Is it strange to ask if there are people here who have died in their own world..? As in... Is it common for these scientists to somehow bring people back?"

"You’re quite fine." Jotaro assured the blonde-haired man with a smile. "It’s no inconvenience to me…quite the contrary. I’m glad that what I know can help you at all. Believe me…the place is daunting. It takes getting used to…"

He met the young man’s eyes. “However long you need me, I’ll be there.” Jotaro assured Caesar. “You can be sure about that.” The smile that came to his lips was a warm one. It was always good to make a possible friend…well, if not a friend, than someone who wouldn’t have a thought towards burying a dagger in his back.

"I’ll lead, seeing as I have a good idea s to which way the train station is." He then realized something else. "Ah…the train is going to be pretty loud. And cramped. At least, based on my experience, it is… Make sure you stretch your elbows before we get there.” He added with a knowing grin. “People…don’t always have good ideas as to what constitutes personal space.”

"Really, Jotaro. You are making this far too easy for me.. Nevertheless, I appreciate your help. I will call on you whenever I may need your aid."

Not to worry, Jotaro.. Caesar would sooner die than betray someone he may find to be a comrade. He's a man proud of the bonds he makes, after all. To betray that would be shameful. Nevertheless, he nodded when the other offered to lead him.. He raised a brow in confusion when he spoke again though. "Crowded? Ah, I don't mind.." As if to humor the other, he did stretch a bit before grinning.

"Don't worry, my friend. I'm sure I will be fine either way."

A laugh before he continued on, waving a hand dismissively.

"Let's go then, Jotaro! Perhaps you'll show me a place to eat later, mm?"

Laurel didn’t answer. If he was going to apologize anyways, might as well do it. It wasn’t as though she immediately thought him rude, just from that one statement, but… it had definitely put her off. Not to mention that Caesar was already looking down on her, literally, and she wouldn’t have put it past him to do it figuratively as well. That was just the kind of thing she stayed on guard about when talking to.. anyone bigger or more impressive or more decorated than her, really.

Instead, she simply nodded again, in quite a gracious manner, and returned the smile. “Great! I can take you there real quick. That place is actually one of my favourites.. fantastic for window shopping.” Laurel didn’t elaborate much more on that. She’d answer any questions he had about the sector, of course, but it just wasn’t coming to mind right now.

”We just need to get on the train first, and…” By habit, the girl lifted her wrist to check her watch- then sighed, remembering it wasn’t there anymore. She dug her cell phone out from her pocket- tricky thing, it was -and managed to turn it on. “..Yea, it’ll be coming back in very soon. Give it ten. But we can at least start walking over to the station, if you’d like?”

"A favorite place? Then, will I be seeing you often?"

A chuckle emitted from Caesar.. Of course, he had no intention of limiting his movement in the city strictly to the sector he was living in. He wanted to know more of the city.. His sector would be a start but any questions would wait until they'd arrived.. The technology of Hive City as a whole was still baffling to him, however... A lot of it seemed to go beyond what the Germans had manufactured, for one thing.. Her cellphone included.

As she spoke and pulled the device from her pocket, Caesar watched curiously. "Ah. Alright... If it's here in ten minutes.. Then it would be best to make our way to the station now, si? It would be some time before the next train, after all." His curiosity didn't subside, however. He'd kept his eye on the device before pointing to it the.

"Before we go, signora.. Could you tell me what that is? I've never seen one.."

With the lack of knowing what else to do, at times Caesar would find himself indulging on what the city had to offer. It helped get his mind off of other things... And during the times he decided on a more relaxing approach in the city, he made a point to make himself known..

"Well now..."

Raising his glass to greet a woman who sat nearby, Caesar offered a more flirtatious expression before he took a sip of his beverage. "Mm. To think I would meet someone such as yourself tonight... Do you mind if we keep one another company?" Whether the answer was yes or no, Caesar continued.

"Tell me something, signora.. Is the passion of our heart as fiery and beautiful as your hair?"

There were times when the city got exceptionally busy.. He didn't mind, really. It was during these times he got to see the city in it's more exciting moments.. Bumping into strangers wasn't exactly unusual by now and normally he brushed it off, given he'd usually just bump shounders with another person.. However, when someone bumped right into him..?

"Whoa, whoa... Careful now, signora."

Placing a hand on the other's shoulder to be sure she wouldn't fall, Caesar offered a smile.

"If you wanted to be swept off your feet, you only needed to ask."

Though the times had changed, it proved to be no obstacle for Caesar in regards to his prior habits.

"Signora.. If we are to part tonight, I will think of you. And if I receive to have a rose for each thought, a garden is sure to flourish..." In a more secluded area of the city, he'd started working his charms. The woman he walked with seemed shy but she stayed with him nonetheless. did he know her? Barely. If anything, they'd just met.. "Even while we are apart, I would be surrounded by thoughts of you. And I would be happy. Si. However, I am happier in this moment while you are here with me.."

Despite his words and actions, Caesar had been on his guard the moment he'd stepped out of his apartment. And as of this moment? He was sure they were being watched. Without another word or even a warning, he'd moved away suddenly to launch a few bubbles in the direction of the offending gaze. Or where he'd assumed they'd be.. Nevertheless, the bubbles hit the walls and ground and caused a bit more damage than one would think bubbles could do... Unfortunately, the woman on his arm became startled by this and hurried away.

"Ah-- Signora!"

Too late.

Clicking his tongue, Caesar referred to the one who'd alerted his senses.. He was hardly impressed, it seemed..

"To think, a boy would have startled me.. Well? If there something you want?"
