Paint-on-glass animation is a technique for making animated films by manipulating slow-drying oil-paints on sheets of glass as the animator gradually alters the shapes they create, and during this process, a camera records each finished ‘frame’.

When adapting ONE’s Mob Psycho 100, director Yuzuru Tachikawa wanted to adapt the source material in fantastic ways. And so, by combining the talents of a skilled staff, an anime with an incredible mix of animation techniques was born. 

In Moomin, children who are abused turn invisible. Ninny was abused by her former caretaker so much she lost her voice and faded away, so the Moomins take her in and slowly help her heal and regain her confidence through love and compassion. Tove Jansson wrote “Thank you for making me visible again” in Tuulikki Pietilä’s, her wife, copy of the novel

I need someone more talented than I am to redraw this with Link as Thor, Zelda as Iron Man, Mipha as Black Widow (holding the Lightscale Trident), Daruk as Hulk, Urbosa as Cap (holding the Daybreaker Shield), and Revali as Hawkeye (holding, you guessed it, the Great Eagle Bow)

Ganon as Loki is a bonus so I can cry less about these characters

Kuzuhara: You seriously made me mad. It’s a good time to finally put an end to this. As always, don’t think you can get away… Celty: (This isn’t good!) Kuzuhara: Hold it! It’s useless to run! Celty: (I have to…I have to go somewhere far away…! I’m sorry, Shinra! I may not be able to come home tonight…!)

Celty: (Haah… I sure went far away. Where am I? I flew down the highway, and got off on an exit I didn’t know, and kept recklessly going… It’s certainly not Tokyo…but if I’m out in the out their jurisdiction, then even that man can’t come after me. First things first, I have to find out where I am on the GPS and contact Shinra…) *Sirens* Celty: (Wha-!?) Kuzuhara: Did you think yo could get away, you monster! Celty: ‘How did you follow me all the way here!? I heard police officers are bound by jurisdiction!’ Kuzuhara: Jurisdictional districts!? Hell if I know that… The rules don’t matter as long as I can catch a criminal…! Celty: ‘Unbelievable!’ Kuzuhara: Ha, I’m used to hearing that. Don’t think you can get away, monster! Celty: (Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeck!!)
