Quantum Break is one of my favorites and also a game I don't see get enough love! It's about time-travel, has incredible fight and movement mechanics, and also has tv episodes built in between game chapters that change as you make decisions/find things in game!

how did you come up with Mara’s character from the unleashed?

Oo, Mara, as a whole, took months to develop and get right, especially with the world building around us as we prepped to launch it to twitch.

I took inspiration from strong female magic users in pop culture and media when I was building her though! You may notice Raven and Scarlet Witch inspiration from looking at her and her powerset but I also wanted her to have their confidence in her powers and herself as well.

I also wanted to make sure we had a character in the show that could be used as a lens to the world of The Rift - someone that could show the audience and the characters not born in the Rift what the world there and the people there are like.

I’m on the ace and bi spectrums - for me they’re very fluid with each other.

I also use she/they pronouns - no preference between the two as I don’t mind either.

random question: how did you handle hurricanes growing up? i lived in central NC so we only ever got a few tornado warnings & now living at the beach i'm terrified every time one comes up

tbh, just practice and planning! know the essentials and listen to the weather channel for updates. my family would stay for cat 4 and luckily haven’t ever had a bad cat 5 to live through in decades. board up windows if you have the option, keep jugs of water in the freezer or in a pantry for both drinking water and also to flush toilets if the power goes out (all you gotta do is fill the tank up to flush a toilet). My dad keeps all juice or milk jugs around just in case we need to fill them up before a storm. Generators are KEY and so is knowing how the area you live in floods after a storm. We live in an area that floods when the storm passes because the winds kick the water back on shore after it’s gone by and so we know to move our cars uphill in prep for that!
