ringabel being an alternis from a different world may have felt a different attraction to his edea, not the one he had travelled with

tiz's feelings towards agnès may still be confused (because he wants to protect her much like an older brother would, but edea teases him about a crush that he might not believe is true)

alternis and edea were adopted siblings and thus raised as such and some people dislike adopted sibling incest (this ones a little iffy, but im counting alternis as ringabel here)

ringabel and tizs obvious friendship means a lot to both of them (tiz is always sticking with ringabel, ringabel is noticing tizs discomfort, they've shared secrets that could cause chaos within the group such as ringabel's memory)

also you shouldnt be uncomfy with queer ships (with the exception of #pedophilia or #abuse) because thats basically homophobia and this fandom is probably the most heteronormative fandom ive ever been in. us queer people like to have ships that pertain to them too??

He glances around the enclosed room once more and then focuses himself again. Nervously, he tugs at his collar. "So uh, perhaps we could go out? Yes that's it. While Agnès and Edea are busy, maybe we could sneak out, like we always do." Another breath. His head is spinning and he's putting every thought into all the mumbles that escape him.

"It's not exactly like a 'hang out' sort of thing per se, but in fact, call it what you will, but it is indeed a date." Ringabel can feel himself go red but he tries to suppress the butterflies in his stomach as he continues. "And I... really love you too."

The frivolous youth exhales, slouching for a split second before slapping himself squarely on his cheek and shaking his head. He looks up to meet the glowering eyes of his reflection and he mutters, "You need to try harder than that. If you can freely ask any woman to drink, then you can handle him too." Ringabel runs a hand through his hair, sighing with a mock-heavy tone.

Eyeing his reflection again suspiciously, he opens his mouth to reenact his plan for the twenty-seventh try, noting that he really should've practiced more on technique yesterday. Or was it the art of seduction? He pays the thought no ounce of attention longer as he straightens out his clothes and takes a breath in. "'Ask Tiz Out Without Looking Like A Fool', take twenty-one."

Then there's a muffled voice from the other side of the door. The boy was whispering, but he could hear the statement crisp and clear. "You're not gonna be able to pick up anyone if you can't ask me out."
