in honor of this cold december day, i thought i’d put together some of my favorite pictures of this lovely character. john was delightful, he was uncertain, and he had a beautiful soul. he had just as many flaws as the rest of us. he made bad decisions just like a normal human being. but such is the custom to put a microscope on a celebrity’s life and blow their mistakes out of proportion. sure, john could be mean. but to those who have criticized him and shamed him - have you never made the same mistake? i don’t think we have the right to point out another’s wrongs if we have done wrong ourselves.
