Part of my bare-bones sheith AU where Honerva kidnaps Keith from the hospital to make use of his quintessence sensitivity. Shiro about damn near loses his mind trying to find him, but they have no leads since Luca’s missing too. Then the black lion calls for him, and he remembers a certain white lion…   *** The entity avoids Keith for some reason, but no matter, she created a device that keeps him in a trance-like state and under her control. While in this state, he can track down large sources of quintessence with ease, making her plans run smoother than ever. He can even answer questions–just inherently know things the conscious Keith shouldn’t be able to–a curious side effect that Honerva realizes is Keith connecting with either the Rift or quintessence itself on some yet unheard of level.  But, as Honerva is soon to find out, it’s not always a good thing to give a voice to the Rift…
