Stop with the Ricky needs to be single narrative cause one he is single & has been for months since season ended after new year & in the new season it’s mid summer according to the trailer but also he’s been working on himself , you portwell’s like say things like that to not face reality that Gina who spend majority of season two pinning over him & chose ej simply because he was there not cause she had any real feelings for him . Ej stay choosing girls he knows has unresolved feelings for Ricky then gets upset & insecure . Ricky never intentionally meant to hurt gina or understand what she meant in that flashback but it’s been canon since the first season he’s had feelings for Gina, so blaming Ricky for coming in between them when he’s always been between them cause Ricky & Gina connect on deeper level than they ever did with either nini or Ej ever did & their romantic feelings never went away nor has ever been addressed. Portwell build up wasn’t authentic it was rushed sorry that’s the truth, they meant to be a speed bump .
