She looks confused , who was this woman Arthur was suddenly ‘in love’ with ?

“Merlin !” She spots the crown prince’s serving boy and tugs him aside .

“Who is she ?” She wasn’t jealous , she and Arthur were like siblings she was more confused and somewhat hurt that he hadn’t confided in her that he’d found an interest , they always shared things like that .

He glanced from her and towards where she was looking before turning back to her. He sighs, "Her name's Sophia. Arthur saved her from some thugs in the woods." He glances back at them for a moment, "They've been spending a lot of time together since."

“It’s not like him to keep such from me ? Did you know about this ?” He knew the woman’s name so clearly he had to know something didn’t he ?

She looks to him for some sort of hope of information , “It cannot be true can it ?”

He sighs. "I know of how they met and that he goes off into the forest with her every day. Both of which I only know because I'm his servant." He glances at Sophia with a distasteful look, "He hasn't been telling me anything."

“Perhaps I can make the King see reason ?” But Uther was probably happy his son was finally taking his title to heart and trying to find a bride .

It felt weird to say it, but he even missed the man's banter. Missed how they used to spend so much more time together.

He sighs, "it's possible, and with the number of people that try to kill him on the regular, I wouldn't put it past her." It just meant more work for him, as usual.

“I just worry greatly , he is still young ,” older than she and old enough for marriage but she didn’t think an age decided long ago was much in the way of sense or saying if someone was ready for something like that .

“What can we even do ? I mean how do you defeat magic ?” To her magic was an invincible force .
