Hello cake anon! It was an alright day-- I got some assignments done, dealt with some emails about this new job and got some dinner. I'm going to try and relax this weekend because things have been so hectic! I hope you're taking care of yourself and doing well too :)

I'd to humbly Request Mikan, Kyoko, and Mahiru with an S/O thats a stoner, (and I mean a STONER STONER this dude LOVES his marijuana) but they dont know he's a stoner and he's chilling and smoking one day and his girlfriend(s) happens to catch him smoking weed and he lowkey panics because weed typically has a bad rep so he's afraid of what she'll say or think.

Hey there! I have no issue writing this request-- thanks for asking though! Honestly, I think it'd be funny to see how they react... but my personal headcanon is that NONE of the DR characters mind if you smoke weed. Anyway, this was done in a lighthearted and slightly comedic sense so I hope you enjoy!

Kyoko:

-You'd be a fool to think she didn't know before. Kyoko is incredibly observant, so she would've picked up on it long ago. But hey, it isn't a big deal so she won't pry.

-It still catches you off guard when she sees you smoking, so she's quick to reassure you.

-"Honestly, y/n, there are much bigger things in the world to worry about than what you do in your spare time. Don't worry, I won't arrest you," (she means the last part as a joke, but GOD is it hard to tell with her)

-As an adult, I can see Kyoko smoking cigarettes, so she understands why people do it. We all need a bit of an escape sometimes, right?

Mikan:

-As a nurse, she's aware of it's properties and how it can help people. She herself has not smoked, but secretly? She wouldn't mind.

-So when she finds out you do it, and quite like it... she can't complain. With how gentle she is, there isn't a reason to fear her response.

-Mikan just sweetly reminds you to do this, like anything, in moderation. She wants to make sure you're treating yourself right!

-After a particularly hard day at work, she nervously asks if she can take a hit. You're flabbergasted. But she has a lot of anxiety, so it helps put her at ease!

Mahiru:

-Definitely the most "scary" in this case. She has nothing against the act itself, it's just principle.

-"Is this WEED in your room?"

-You freeze. This is the end as you know it.

-"Hey, don't freak out! You can tell me these things, you know. I'm sure I can seem... strict, but I know you take care of yourself. More power to you!"

-You were NOT expecting that. In your time together, Mahiru has been working on becoming less judgemental and more tolerant.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. I am not a fighter anyway-- I have twigs for arms! Plus, you can't mess with a girl like her. It'd be over in an instant. Any fool who comes at her is going to regret it...

Chiaki:

-She's fast friends with you, even before your relationship. I mean, with your talents, it's a match made in heaven.

-She's very perceptive so it doesn't take her long to see there's a lot under the surface. Chiaki won't pry because she'd hate to make you uncomfortable, but she listens frequently.

-Kindness is of great importance to her. So on occasion, she'll lightly scold you if you're particularly harsh. No ill intent of course! She just wants you to let down your walls to others.

-Chiaki knows all too well that life is not as simple as your beloved games, and that grief is a hard process. That being said, she's on this journey with you-- till the very end.

-She sees right through your tough exterior to your wounded heart. For whatever reason, Kaede has a sense for these things.

Mikan:

-Mikan deals with similar issues, so she's very understanding about this. In addition to her nurse training, she's been studying mental health as well.

-She's also kind of clingy, though not in a bad way! It's reassuring to you. Mikan will not leave your side, and that's a part of her nature.

-To her, it's wonderful being with you because she knows you're both growing together. You can both help each other heal and support positive change.

-You'll frequently find her passed out on your bed, saving a spot for you in her sleep. The simple fact of knowing she'll be there each night is enough for you.

Sonia:

-The absolute sweetest girl you could ever have. She may not understand what your past was like, but she'll do everything in her power to make things better now.

-She likes to write you letters. Sometimes she has to go on royal excursions for her title, but she'll fill you in on all she's doing and how much she misses you. When she's home again, she takes you on lovely dates.

-Sonia feels a deep pride in having you as her significant other. Everyone in the kingdom knows your name, and she sings your praises constantly. It's her way of saying "I promise, I'm not going anywhere-- everyone knows it".

-When you move in with her, she makes the space appeal to both of you. It's got all of your favorite luxuries, games, and furnishings. That way you know this is home.

Peko:

-Like Mikan, she'll never leave your side. But... for different, more complex reasons. It's her protective nature, really.

-She has a past of her own, and knows things heal with time. Peko makes it a personal mission to help heal your wounds as well.

-She texts you frequently if she's out. It's all status updates: "At the grocery store", "getting dinner, what would you like", "I'll be home shortly". It may be curt, but it's how she shows she cares.

-At night, she watches you sleep occasionally. NOT in a weird way, just admiring how peaceful you look. It puts her at ease.

Chiaki:

-She's so incredible when it comes to helping others with anything they deal with. That goes to you as well, of course.

-Chiaki constantly reassures you that she isn't going anywhere. You are the person she cares more about than anything, and she won't let you forget it.

-She'll invite you to outings with your mutual friends, doing all kinds of fun stuff: karaoke, arcades, movie nights and the like. It's her way of including you!

I have not yet! It's on my list of things to do. I've been so busy with college that I'm trying to balance everything :)

I had to think about this one for a second, because do I think he would care? On the outside, probably not but I also think the events of v3 show he's got such bad self esteem that most of his classmates would probably leave him alone about it 🥺 aside from the usual offenders (Miu and Kokichi come to mind, they're so mean!!). My personal headcanon is that Kaito calls him "little buddy" like Arven in the new Pokémon games, haha. But yeah, it mainly depends on who he's with.

I'm so happy you liked it! I enjoy writing Shuichi, he's actually the most relatable character in the series to me. That probably comes as a surprise actually, lol.

Honestly... I imagine she can fight a little. Probably some basic combat training, and some knowledge on firearms (more common in detective work, I imagine). She wouldn't be as strong as some of the clear fighters of the cast but definitely can hold her own in some instances. At least, that's how I see it.
