I’ve begun a project recently where I calligraph profound or interesting statements given off-handedly online. The first of these is a favorite of mine:

“how dull for you to live your life without any hills to die on, you, on your vast flat barren plains of compromise, acceptance, and accommodation, while I reign supreme over the lush, rolling highlands of stupid shit I have irrationally chosen to stake my entire identity on”

“I have lived a thousand lives, I have loved a thousand loves. I’ve walked on distant worlds and seen the end of time, because I read.”

A loose translation in Greek, as pictured in the above frame:

“είναι κρασί αγάπης, κάθε σταγόνα κρασιού δηλητηριάζει τις καρδιές των ανθρωπόν.

She is a wine of love, every drop of wine poisons the hearts of men.”

I used an online enochian translator, but I’m sure Lyon would probably work as well! I’m unsure if it is truly accurate but I’m hoping it is....

Written in the above frame in Enochian:

This webtoon features a lovely heroine who has to hide who she is to get by in a kingdom where her true identity would be shunned, but it’s a lot easier when you have a king backing you up and a new friend made of armor.

Very cute comic following the developing relationship between a crazy, adventurous Miss Abbott and the uptight, straight-lined Doctor Marino. Mishaps abound and values are challenged throughout their time together as they learn to balance their differences.

Most people have already heard of this one, but I highly recommend for anyone who loves mythology. Definite TW for mentions/depictions of sexual assault, but those episodes are few and far between, and are very clearly labeled for those who need to pass them.

Probably one of my favorite comics, the CPC is all about self love, relationships with the people around you, and confronting our own perceptions of ourselves and the world. Princess Gwen is one of my favorite characters, and I recommend this to people of all ages and identities. We can all use a little love.

This comic is beautifully done, transporting you to a world of magical creatures right through the back door of a shop. But whatever you do, don’t wander past the gate my friends.

For my friends with ties to religion, here’s a lovely comic about a priest and a nun. I’ll let you extrapolate from that...
