#recommended reading

I've been wanting to cross post one of my works onto AO3, but the problem is that the current version is kinda heavily reliant on color-coded text in certain chapters, to the point that losing the colored text would require reworking multiple chapters to accommodate its absence.

Unfortunately I don't, although I was gifted a fic with some special coloured text in it: Canis Aestatis by FeugoFox42 aka @biggreenneatbox (recommended reading, hound!Summer meets Blake and gives her a shovel talk of sorts). They'd be able to tell you better than I can how they did it, just tell them I sent you (they know me as Skaal).

Another potentially helpful tumblog I've come across is here, and looks to be an expert with AO3 skins, and is open to asks but warns answers are very slow.
