Antique Edwardian Reception Gown in my collection, gifted to me by a descendant of a member of Russian royalty who wore this dress in Edwardian Era Russia before fleeing to India during the Russian Revolution in 1917. She brought her clothing with her, along with her jewels and Faberge eggs. The dress was slightly modified for the stage sometime later, before being stored away in a cedar trunk for decades before being discovered again by the remaining family.

This dress is very delicate and is a real treasure to me. 💛💚
