“O H.. Launch.” Barry pretended to fly around a bit until he stopped, thinking that was going to look more weird than how he meant to be taken as funny. “You got me when you said best sandwiches. B E C A U S E now I have to try them and if they aren’t good I might have to slap you.” He might have taken food a bit too seriously, he gave another a smile as he happily walked to the others car.

Once Edward got the car unlocked, Barry happily seated on the passenger side. He really didn’t need to drive with Edward.. but the other man didn’t know about his powers. Also, really? A green car? Well.. can’t fault the guy, the Flash was all red too.

“France.” Yeah so, he didn’t have an accent but he’ll explain that. “Born and raised but.. I often come here to visit family. So I’m sorry is you were expecting a sweet sounding accent.” Barry gave a small laugh, as he tapped the dashboard. 

“Launch us away.”

that sort of explained the peculiar appearance of him. Ed smiled, “ ah, je sais parler le français? I only studied French in my senor year of college. spanish was more my forte. both beautiful languages. ” he knew he was rambling. “ you must be a real odd ball then. coming back and forth so often. I've never been out of the country but I imagine France is beautiful. ” Ed continued as he backed up and began driving.

“Can I help you?”  Diana’s head snaps toward the person who’s just entered the gallery, eyes traveling over the lean form in an effort to judge whether they mean any harm to the patrons, or if they are there for innocent means.  Body language being slightly more difficult to read with this one, she’s turning to face them straight on, head tilting only slightly to one side as she speaks to him.  “You look very familiar, have we met?”

“ I don't believe we have, ” Ed replied with a large smile. his eyes traveled along the walls of art, only pretending to express an interest that did not show in his eyes. his main interest was the woman in front of him. “ if you want me you’ll have to share me but if you share me I will be gone. what am I? ” he asked.

      • I lost them. • The boy wrote, before flipping the page and asking a much more important question. [Plus, he didn’t want Edward to linger on the lie the boy just told.] • Do the Riddlebots have names? • 

without his glasses, the scribble the child made on the notepad was only a jumble of words. Edward squinted and leaned forward a little. he was only to make out 'lost' before the child turned it back towards him to write more. 

“ well, it is unfortunate for a child to be lost in this city. Johnathon is about to unleash hell--" oh, another note. “ names? no, they merely response to their designation and form of order. none the less they are superior combat bots that carry out flawless-- ” the bot closes to Martin fell close to the boy's feet as it seized. “ it's resting.. ” Edward stated, still sounding positive of his creations. 

“Uh.. so green guy is off the hook then? Or even Mister Green?.. Wait I’m pretty sure you might have been named off the Clue game.” 

 “ do not insult me with your lesser intelligence at trying to distract me, Flash. I won't be impressed. but it's expected, isn't it? unfortunately, you hero types are quite similar and dull. I only bother to converse because I feel I can change your perspective. and you might want to hear what I have in plan for your little friend-- Batman. so, do I have your simple minded attention yet?”

   ❝ So cruel, and here I was hoping the two of us could still be friends. ❞ She gave a short laugh at that though, how ridiculous.  ❝ I come with good intentions Eddie, I assure you. I come looking for…a partner, of a sort. A real ‘you scratch my back, I scratch yours’. So lets talk, mano a mano ❞

“ f r i e n d  s.. seem like a strong word. ” he muttered, sounding unimpressed. “ I highly doubt you have anything for me to satisfy that itch but we have history I will honor that. ”
