Got around to reading CH5 of Hideous Towns by @sosoubrette and all I could think about was Kenny borrowing that awful camp shirt from Butters

OK so I've thought about this a lot and they've been the same from the beginning. I'm so glad you asked!

3rd - Wendy

I just love her. She's strong and opinionated and way more interesting than Stan. I watched The Simpsons as a kid and she reminds me a lot of Lisa, who I saw myself in, so Wendy kinda feels like all of the female characters with black hair that made me feel seen. A lot of media rarely had characters who also looked like me, and I like how Wendy is as complex as any of the boys (No surprise that my favourite MLP pony was twilight sparkle btw)

2nd - Butters

I think we all have a bit of Butters' traits in us. The nervous habits, the overthinking, the rare moments of bravery that made other people see us for who we are. When I started watching South Park, I had a friend who said Butters was their favourite character, to which I said "Why Butters? He's a little twerp!" And OMG I wish I could eat my words. I had only gotten up to the first episode butters was in, where he does that stupid dance with Pip in front of Stan in a basement. But I've done a complete 180 since then, and I've also seen probably every south park adjacent film/episode/promotion or whatever that Matt & Trey have created by now. I just think Butters is incredibly flawed, but it makes him brilliant. Also he's very fun to draw.

1st - Kyle

This one might confuse some of you? I feel like I don't really draw him as much. Something in my brain is just wired to make more art of kenny and butters and even stan. I think he's my favourite in an unexplainable sort of way - probably for similar reasons to why I like Wendy so much. I think he has the funniest lines ("screw you guys, im KING lesbian!") But what really matters is that he's doing his damn best in every episode he's a part of. He's just reliable and relatable and a good brother to Ike. I don't think there are any other sp characters who I connect with more than Kyle.
