oswald could do nothing but chuckle at the boys excitement— he recalls something very similar when going to the very same bakery with his mother when he was younger. joining the boy in the shop, he looks for his own desired cake. “ ah, here’s mine. ” oswald happily plucks it up from the case, it was a decently personal sized cake. could  possible be shared between two people. “ what about you my boy— see what you want ?? ”

Oswald smiled glad that his son was getting excited about their little holiday. He had greatly enjoyed this day so far and couldn’t wait for later. “ I swear you are turning into Zsasz when it comes to food, But yes You can be my taster”

Oswald smiled softly watching Martin move a bit closer” You know Papa will always protect you. You’re the most important thing in my life”

“That’s no way to talk about your father. Also I’m still taller than you so ha.”

oh dear— that’s quite a lot of cinnamon. oswald eyed over the paper before nodding. “ alright— we’ll see what looks best when we get there, then we’ll decide. ok ?? ” the car comes to a stop outside a local bakery, open later than  most and more than delicious goods. “ alright my boy, lets go see. ”

“How about no,” No way in hell is she letting that kid out of her sight until she knows he is back with Cobblepot, though she’d rather find him a less criminal environment to grow up in, not in her hands. “I’m fine, kid.” Though she may consider making an appointment for tomorrow.

“Sounds good to me, Food and Eggs, and times without family” Oswald chuckled nodding happily glad to spend the Holiday with his son. It was always nice to be around family during this time. “ I know later just you and I will make something special”
