Amatur Archaeology Is an attempt to investigate the internal and secret workings of the world through dialogue and consolidation of printed historical media. the meaning of life is to give life a meaning and so there seems to be a never-ending stream of questions in the reality we reside, but along with those questions lay many truths to be discovered. Paper collages have always served as a vital medium to me, The two most important reasons being collage’s ability to break down barriers encasing what is “2D media”, and its use of recycling and combining together the random bits of found printed images. In an age where accepting existential thought seems to be gaining momentum, I hope my work can serve as a way of propelling relative information and discoveries, far larger then myself, to others through my work. the mind is not contained to the cranium, its province is in the place from where we draw our infinite imaginative spirit. I wish to bring to question what purpose we as people really serve in the creation of art and Media, whether its under our authorship and control or if its pure circumstance based on what material and content finds its way to us
