Let me tell you about why I’m grinning like an idiot in this picture. In case you didn’t know, this guy is Richard Speight Jr. AKA Gabriel. As a lot of you guys know, I write parody songs. “Never Seen A Guy Like Me” is about Gabriel and it’s my favorite one.

When I went up for my photo, I knew I didn’t have a lot of time, so I just asked if Richard could hold the sign in one hand. He took the paper and then he looked at it, kinda confused. I quickly explained that the sign was for a song written about him and his character. And then he told me that my work sounded really cool.

He didn’t have to say anything. He could have just heldthe paper, taken the photo, and let me go on my merry way. But he didn’t. I mean, I probably only had about fifteen seconds for my photo because of the sheer amount of people, but he took the time out to compliment me and my work. And that means the world to me.
