Haven’t done one of these in awhile but here’s a recap on tonight’s game!

International Friendly: USA vs Colombia 1/22/21

• I’m a HUGE fan of the starting back line being kriegs, cook, baby t, and sonny

• Glad Jane is getting some experience but where tf did AD Franch go?!?

• Catarina Macario is this teams next star. She already communicates so well with the other players, has great chemistry on the field, and the girls got some fancy footwork going on.

• Megan Rapinoe is BACK BABY!!!

• I’ve missed watching pinoe take corners and oh my god we had so many tonight

• Sad Sam got hurt and that’s why they subbed her out but she was able to walk off the field by herself so I’m not worried.

• LOVE the fact that Kristie is getting called up to play

• Shout out to Catarina Macario once again for her first international goal

• Shout out to Midge Purce for her first international goal

• Absolutely love seeing Linds and Sonny together again

• I think Vlatko is doing a really good job mixing up the roster and getting a look at new players because as much as it pains me to say it, people are going to be retiring soon

Thoughts on She Believes Cup 2020: USA v Japan 3/11/20

• Wearing their warm up jerseys inside out to hide the us soccer crest is a big statement that I fully support

• I love CP23 as the number 9

• Happy Alyssa is getting a break, sad that Ash’s hand is fucked up from a shot from Carli during practice, but excited to see AD get some minutes

• Devastated Linds had to get hurt for it but that set piece in the 5’ was the Pinoe I’ve missed all tournament

• We gave away a lot of stupid passes because of a lack of communication

• Love to see Mal and Tierna back on the field

• Japan came back fighting the second half and we were not at all prepared

• The use of subs was very interesting, I understand Vlatko wanting to rotate the players and see variety but it’s a very dangerous game

• It’s the year of Lindsey Horan and IM HERE FOR IT

• Overall we fell apart in the second half

After seeing the USA v ENG game live tonight here are my thoughts:

•I support the hell out of that starting XI

•I like the new kits better in person than I did in photos

•Carli Lloyd was trash the first half (sorry not sorry)

•Linds really wants a bicycle goal and I can’t wait to see it happen

•Rose is starting to be able to control her fancy feet

•Alyssa Naeher is a fucking beast

•I love Christen Annemarie Press

•Watching Chris immediately turn towards where Tobin was on the field waiting for her to come hug her after scoring the beautiful goal was everything

•I’m so sad for JJ that her goal was offsides

•I’m sad Ashlyn, Ali, and now Sonnett didn’t get to play on their home field for country

New kits are being announced...this is not a drill people we’re losing the gold star 😭 🌟

Thoughts on today’s game:

• CHRIS SAID F OFF JESS IM HUGGING MY GIRL

• Tobin scored without even looking at the goal 😳

• Lindsey. Michelle. Horan. Is a hat trick fucking queen ⚽️⚽️⚽️

• Jess needs to learn how to lower her shots or so help me I will die

• Sonnett faking out the entire back line of Panama so Lindsey could score is everything in life

• Sonnett and Tobin in long sleeve kits? *chefs kiss* (I’m sad Christen was wearing an undershirt and not a long sleeve kit tbh)

• Christen not playing as #23 makes me so mad

• Oh captain, my captain Becky!!!!
