I wasn't trying to get you on Ash's side. Think the whole taking sides crap is odd anyway. When none of us know these people irl and were in their house lol. I'm just someone who has followed them throughout their careers and pointing out things that happened and not everything is so black and white, just because Ali spoke up first and tried to control the narrative posting what she did. The truth is likely somewhere in the middle.
Well. You're definitely right that the truth is not something that you and I have access to. I guess it just sucks that nothing that Ash did afterwards helped her case in the court of public opinion đĽ But, like I said, the clarification was much appreciated.
"but I thought there was clear evidence that contradicted Ashlynâs âwe were already separatedâ statement."
Theres actually more things that show they were separated and backs up what Ash has said from the start.
Things that show Ali's "blindsided" "cheating" narrative doesn't add up ...
*They rehomed the dogs around the 1st or 2nd week of August
*In September she Changes her Twitter header pic from a family pic of her and Ash with the kids to a soccer pic the week after she claims Ash moved out of the house
*Also in September there was a video posted by the MUA in the living room and a wall that used to have family pics and pics from their wedding had been removed
*She also stopped wearing her wedding ring in September
*Also removed wife from her IG bio right after Ash did the first week in Oct.
*Her and Sophia unfollowed each other either mid or late August
Oof. Looks like I struck a nerve đ Iâm kidding; I hope that if I made anything clear, itâs that Iâm someone who values tangible evidence, which you clearly have a lot of. Iâm not surprised that the situation isnât as clear cut as the GP was making it seem. That said â and Iâm not saying this to spite you â Iâm still on Aliâs side, just based on vibes đ¤ˇđžââď¸ It also seems most of their shared friends have taken Aliâs side as well, so I donât really feel that conflicted about it.
But thanks for the nuance! đ
Oh for sure, most people are 100% on Ali side. Only Harris fans and Sophia Bush fans who werenât involved in soccer support Harris. Even if they claim Ashlyn didnât cheat there were hints of emotional infidelity. According to the timeline Ali was posting pictures about missing Ash with their two kids and Ash was frolicking with Bush in France saying things like âI thought you were straightâ and âI thought you were happyâ.
Maybe this is an example of the âobvious rough patchâ (paraphrasing) that that anon thought we could have had with Sarina. Then again, I was certainly shocked when Krashlyn announced their divorce (donât get me started on the timing of that announcement; it still makes me sick to this day). Even in hindsight, I think they managed to hide their issues really well.
That krashlyn divorce was MESSYYYYY especially when you get accused of cheating which wasn't true, but if my partner of 10 years popped out with sophia bush after our separation I would crash out to
Oh ⌠I thought we all collectively decided to take Aliâs side? I wonât rehash the debate, but I thought there was clear evidence that contradicted Ashlynâs âwe were already separatedâ statement.
Anyways, messy or not, theyâve both moved on.

I knew that krashlyn was doomed the minute ali made ash get her another ring because the first one diamond wasn't big or good enough
Wait HUH! I donât remember that đ Then again, just like pazzi, pretty much as soon or just after Krashlyn was confirmed, I moved on (I donât think Preath was confirmed by then, right?). Wow, this is making me realize that I have a probably somewhat problematic obsession with unconfirmed couples đ
After writing a dissertation in the tags, I realized I needed to amend my above statement. I think the whole âobsessiveâ behaviour that comes with being a fan of an unconfirmed couple is a direct byproduct of the uncertainty. Once theyâre confirmed, I just switch to consuming their content like a regular fan of a regular couple, which for me is a lot more passive. So I did miss the memo that Krashlyn got their ring replaced. But I do remember their wedding, their adoption story, and their divorce đ
I honestly feel that today, once you take out all that cheating drama of the equation, that the only thing Ali and Ashlyn had in common was soccer and being raging lesbians. Once soccer was out for one of them, they both lost interest in each other (something I completely understand. There's nothing worst than see the person you love became a stranger in front of your eyes or lose the whole attraction you had on that person.).
I think the difference between them is that Ali was open to figure their shit out and trying to make it work once soccer was over to her, while Ashlyn was more into someone who worshiped her rather than wait for Ali's time, because Ali would never be the person who would worship her like Sophia does (Which is pathetic to me, and partly why i lost interest in Sophia. Like woman, have some self-respect, please. Stop trying to put a suit in a pig, it will always be a pig, no matter how pretty it looks like to you.)

KRASHLYN FANFIC
One where Ashlyn and Ali have the unfortunate unavoidable run in at Kristie and Samâs wedding. (In this Kristie isnât pregnant yet)
"Ali, what the fuck is she doing with my kids?" Ashlynn's voice was sharp, her anger rising as she glared across the lobby. Talking about a picture that has been circulating online.
Ali, trying to keep things from escalating, interrupted her with a calm but firm tone. "Ashlynn, our kids," she corrected, glancing around the lobby to make sure no one was paying attention. "Can we at least take this up to the room? I don't want to turn this into a scene."
Ashlynn shot her a glare, clearly irritated, but with a frustrated sigh, she nodded. "Fine," she muttered, following Ali into the elevator, her mood still simmering. The ride up was tense, neither of them speaking as the elevator hummed its way to the top, the silence heavy as they made their way into Aliâs room.
As soon as the door shut behind them, Ashlynn didnât waste a second. âSheâs a stranger to them, Ali,â she snapped, her voice tight with frustration. âI donât care who you fuck, but she doesnât need to be around our kids.â The last words came out through clenched teeth, her jaw tight with barely contained anger.
Ali exhaled slowly, a deep breath sheâd been holding back, and couldnât stop herself from letting it slip. âOh, Iâm sorry, Ashlynn. I shouldâve chosen to date someone we both considered a friend, so the kids would know her better.â
The room went silent, the words hanging in the air between them, heavy and sharp.
Ashlynnâs eyes flashed with something like hurt, but Ali didnât back down. Instead, she took another deep breath, trying to steady herself before speaking again. âLook,â she began, her voice calmer but still carrying the weight of the last few months. âWeâve been dating for a few months, and Iâve been careful about your feelings.â Not that you ever really thought about mine, Ali thought but didnât say. âI told you beforehand that theyâd meet her briefly. At lunch. In a public place. This is only the second time theyâll meet her outside of, you know, saying 'hi' or me talking to her on the phone.â Ali paused, looking Ashlynn directly in the eyes, her voice taking on a steadier tone. âAnd youâre here with Sophia. So, I donât see whatâs wrong.â
Ashlynn clenched her fists at her sides, the tension in her shoulders obvious. "I do care, Ali. You donât get it." She took a breath, her eyes flicking to the side before locking with Aliâs. âI just want to protect them. From this.â
Ali didnât have a comeback. Instead, she let the silence stretch again, the weight of their unspoken thoughts hanging in the space between them.
Since their divorce, Ali and Ashlynn had barely spoken without tension, especially after Ashlynnâs recent interview about how their marriage fell apart. Ali had tried to keep things civil for the kids, but it was hard when Ashlynn's bitterness seemed to seep into everything.
But today wasnât about them. Not about old wounds. Not about Ali dating someone new. It was about Sam and Kristieâs wedding, and Ali wasnât going to let Ashlynn ruin it.
âWeâre going to get along, Ashlynn,â Ali said, her voice calm but firm. âWhether you like it or not. This is about them, not us.â
Almost on cue, Ali heard the hotel door click open, and two overly energetic kids came running straight into her arms. She smiled, hugging them tightly, but she knew once the chaos of affection died down, sheâd look up to find her brother Kyle standing in the doorway with a surprised look on his face, wondering why her ex was in the room.
But when Ali finally pulled away from the kids and looked up, the surprise wasnât on Kyleâs faceâit was on hers. Standing in the doorway with him was Sophia, making her way toward Ashlynn, and Jen, who stood by the door with a shy smile, looking uneasy with the different relationships in the room.
Aliâs heart skipped a beat, the tension in the air palpable. It was one thing to deal with Ashlynn and her own complicated feelings, but now it felt like everything was shifting again, and none of them had the chance to catch up.
To everyone's surprise, Jen spoke first, her soft Scottish accent breaking the silence. She gave a small, warm smile as she turned toward Sophia and Ashlynn. "Hi, Iâm Jen," she said, "It's really nice to meet you both."
Sophia blinked, momentarily taken aback by Jenâs easygoing nature, her own smile awkward but genuine. Ashlynn, however, stayed quiet, her arms crossed tightly, clearly not quite sure how to respond to this new dynamic.
Jen, sensing the tension but remaining unfazed, added with a light laugh, âI know this is a bit of a strange situation, but I thought itâd be better to introduce myself than just stand here feeling all awkward.â
Her accent, rich and soothing, seemed to add a layer of calm to the room, disarming the moment in a way that only someone like Jen could do. There was a softness in her tone, a kindness that didnât quite fit with the usual intensity of Ashlynnâs guarded demeanor.
Ashlynn finally uncrossed her arms, though her expression remained cautious. "Nice to meet you, I guess," she said, her voice still a little stiff but not as dismissive as before.
Sophia nodded, a little more at ease now. "Yeah, nice to meet you."
Jenâs warm smile never wavered as she responded, âThanks, both of you. I know this whole thing isnât ideal, but Iâm sure we can make it work, right?â She glanced over at Ali, who gave her a small nod, grateful for Jenâs ability to ease the moment.
It wasnât perfect, but it was a step in the right direction.
ââ
The internet had already exploded with pictures of all of them togetherâAli, Ashlynn, Jen, and the kidsâeach snapshot sparking a wave of comments and speculation. People were quick to share their opinions, and Ali had already received a handful of messages from her friends and former teammates, all asking if she was okay. Some were supportive, others were a bit more pointed, but all of them wanted to know how she was handling it.
Ali couldnât help but roll her eyes at the notifications lighting up her phone. She had gotten used to people weighing in on her life, especially since the divorce, but this felt different. This wasnât just about her and Ashlynn anymore; it was about new relationships, new faces, and a whole lot of uncomfortable conversations.
Thankfully, though, there was a small silver lining. Besides today and the wedding, Ali knew that she wouldnât have to deal with spending much more time with Ashlynn. They would be operating as separate families, as always. As much as the idea of being in the same hotel together felt like a recipe for disaster, it wasnât like they were going to spend their days socializing. Both of them had their own groups, their own agendas, and honestly, Ashlynn wouldnât want to be around for much longer than necessary.
Ali glanced at Jen, who was talking quietly with Kyle, and then at Ashlynn, who had retreated into a quiet corner of the room. There was a clear divide between the two worlds, even within the same space, and Ali was resigned to the fact that the only time their paths would cross was when it was unavoidable. Like today. Like the wedding.
But for now, she could breathe. It wouldnât be perfect, but she didnât expect it to be. At least they were getting through it, one awkward moment at a time.
âHow do you feel?â Jen asked softly, rubbing her face in exhaustion.
âIâm just glad we got the kidsâ schedule with Ashlyn finalized,â Ali replied, looking up at her girlfriend with a tired but satisfied smile.
âDo you want to get some dinner?â Jen suggested, her voice gentle.
Ali laid back in bed, the weight of the day pressing on her, and she let out a sigh, clearly not in the mood to go out.
Jen took the hint and smiled, her decision already made. âRoom service it is,â she murmured, reaching for the remote and turning on a movie. As the soft glow of the screen illuminated the room, she slipped under the covers, pulling Ali in close, the two of them settling into the quiet comfort of the evening.
