We'll always be together

“Yes I am! I sing with the other vocaloid, some of them are here like IA and Kaito!!” She exclaimed, flashing her best smile. The android was used to questions like that, though many knew right away who she was when she was at home. Ah, she’d need to do a bit more adjusting to get used to that.

     Tohru’s voice trailed off for a moment, “What’s a ‘vocaloid’?” She had never heard of one before. “Is that the name of your band..!?” She exclaimed, “Ahh This is so rude of me.. I meet a superstar and I have no idea who you are...” Tohru felt awful, and hoped that this beautiful girl wasn’t hurt by her naivete. 

Now that he looked at it… maybe it had been a bit overkill. He could totally fix that. Well, he could if Kleese or any of the other Peacekeepers were around. Meaning he couldn’t fix it at all. “Uh…” Shit. “Huh?” When she commented on how strong he was, he paused for a moment, looking at her. Wasn’t she mad? Well, he could tell that she was surprised, at the very least. “Well, yeah. You’re lookin’ at a bonafide badass. Be advised, that door is irreparable. You might need to get a new one. I’ll…uh… I’ll help.” It was his fault, after all. Had he already messed up?! The first person he finds to help out in this city and he’d already made them wary of him! Damnit! This was why the other Mikes booted him out…

     Tohru couldn’t believe it! Although, yes, he had been the one to kick her door in, he was still willing to help her replace it and that was very kind in her book! She beamed at him, “Honestly, that’s so nice of you! I’ll have to repay you someday. A-And the damage isn’t so bad...” She chuckled a bit, looking at her home. “I haven’t even been in the city long enough to get anything worth of much value... So I know even the large crashing noise that the door made couldn’t have been of much importance!” She was trying to make the situation light, without realizing she piled on the blame that much more. “And I know my picture of Mom is safe too, considering it’s in my room! So nothing to worry about.” Tohru continued to smile at the larger of the two, deciding not to delve into any more details, “So, have any ideas on how to fix this...? I’m at a total loss!”

“You want me to knock the door down?” He asked, deadpan look as he trace his finger against the door.

     Tohru didn’t want to be rude, this person was offering to help, after all... But she couldn’t afford to lose her door--! She KNEW how expensive doors were, after all, she lived in a household where doors were broken quite often for a long time. The brunette also knew she couldn’t afford to buy a new one... “Do you think there’s... a way around breaking the door..?” Tohru asked, a little hesitant. 

            “ You do know the purpose is to be locked INSIDE the home,” The man furrowed his brows , glancing over with a gentle sigh. “Don’t you have a key or did you perhaps leave it inside as well?”

     Tohru felt so embarrassed.

“Step aside, little lady and let Oscar Mike take care of this. Be advised, you’re about to witness one SICK door kick!” And he steps forward, arching one leg up and launching the heel of his booted foot into the door, causing the hinges to get busted off. “Badass! I’ve never been able to do that before. Mostly because all the doors I come across are giant metal airlocked doors but…y’know.”

『❀』               The sounds that came out of Tohru’s mouth were full of worry and almost sounded inhuman. “M-My... Door...” She said, finally. She looked from the large man, back to the empty space now in her door frame. Never one to forget her manners, Tohru spoke up, “Th-Thank you...” Her eyes were wide as she moved towards her home, “You sure are strong.” She turned to look at him, but her expression was one full of shock- she couldn’t calm down at all, her hair was still standing up. 

                                                      this was stupid.

                             “A-Are you lost?”

“You think so? I’m glad you find it cute!! It took the design team a loooooong time to get it right!!” The android giggled, excited at the compliment. 

     Tohru gasped, she had no idea she was in the presence of such a person who was important enough to have a design team! “That’s amazing!” She exclaimed, completely wide-eyed. She was in shock to say the least. “Are you a performer..?!” 

“Hey uh, it’s okay, you didn’t do anything wrong we all bump into people sometimes; no reason to get so worked up”

     It was in her nature to get a bit worked up in situations like these, “I mean I don’t even know your name.. Bumping into a complete stranger on the street like that- It was awfully rude of me! And what if you were holding something valuable to you and had dropped it..?! Oh gosh.. I-I don’t even want to imagine!” Tohru had a bad habit of overthinking sometimes...

“Hey, I’m new here… I don’t really know anyone. We couldstick together if you wanted?”

     The smaller of the two couldn’t stop smiling, she just felt so overcome with joy. She was on the path to making a new friend! “My name is Tohru Honda, by the way!” She was beaming from ear to ear, “What’s your name?”
