Jamey Carney, a 43-year-old American mother from New York who lived in Ireland for about five years, was m*rdered in her home.

The pro-Palestinian activist posted videos of herself with Ahmad Alsaqer - the 28-year-old now identified as the person of interest in her m*rder - at a rally in Ireland, both were wearing a keffiyeh.

Alsaqer is also pictured in multiple Instagram posts with Carney, with captions including, “Dating an Arab be like...” “I’m his flower - warda and he’s my moon - qamar,” and “learning Arabic.”

Her body was discovered by her 13-year-old daughter. She was unresponsive in bed and covered with a blanket.

The room was covered in blood, and Carney had suffered repeated severe head injuries consistent with a savage and extended beating

Her daughter called a family friend who then called the police officers.

State Pathologist Dr. Linda Mulligan determined the cause of death was suffocation.

The violent assault is believed to have happened late Monday or early Tuesday morning. Neighbors reported hearing shouting that night.

Police identified Carney's boyfriend, a Middle Eastern 'asylum seeker' who had been in Ireland since mid-2024, as the prime suspect.

The 20-year-old m*slim migrant often stayed at her home and fled the country within hours: taking a bus from Killarney to Dublin around 3:30 a.m., then flying from Dublin Airport to Istanbul, Turkey, on Tuesday morning before her body was even discovered.

Authorities believe he may try to reach Syria or Jordan.

An international manhunt involving Interpol and Europol is underway.

Carney was active in pro-Palestine protests and had built an online presence campaigning against U.S. immigration enforcement.
