Hi all! Coming out of the woodwork to say, I’m auditioning VOICE ACTORS for my 3rd year film! Open to anyone in the LA Area or Bay Area.

I feel like the Indian Accent is exotified and/or often played as a joke in Western media (ie. Raj from Big Bang Theory, Apu from the Simpsons.) It's important to me to make a comedy where the characters' accents are NOT the funny part. Therefore, I am ideally hoping to work with Indian actors on this project, especially 1st generation English speakers. However, casting isn’t limited to people of South Asian descent; anyone is open to audition, and you don't need acting experience!

I would really appreciate sharing this post, as well as reaching out to any friends/family that might be interested, particularly in the South Asian community.
