I genuinely don’t understand Tumblr’s deep-seated hostility toward Emma D’Arcy and the sheer amount of resentment toward their portrayal of Rhaenyra. Emma is the only House of the Dragon cast member to have received two Golden Globe nominations, and even George R.R. Martin himself praised both Emma and Matt’s performances, saying they "bring Rhaenyra and Daemon to vivid life."

Why are you all so forgiving of Milly? Do you even understand show!Rhaenyra? From the very first episode, show!Rhaenyra was never the same as book!Rhaenyra—"I'd rather serve as a knight and ride to battle and glory."

Are you illiterate? Did you think she was OOC when she pulled out a dagger and stabbed the boar? Did you criticize Milly’s Rhaenyra when she walked back into camp covered in blood?
