Sideblog for Yammering

Personally—I’d say you shouldn’t worry yourself TOO much about exams. The more you stress yourself out the more likely you are to perform…poorly. Get good rest, study up at reasonable intervals, eat well, take breaks when you need it, stay hydrated…basic things. Exams aren’t the end of the world—ha! A lot of the time they’re not even worth a good portion of your overall grade! But ehh….you got this.

Just believe in yourself! And take care of yourself!

small recap. Burn Pygmalion (the album Sleepyhead comes from, very good if yu havent heard it) takes the story of two girls—Sylvia and Jeanine—who are girlfriends. but also toxic. but not in a mean way. they have bad communication and they love each other a lot but they are both nervous to mess it up and codependent and yes. Sylvia ends up moving away for a bit (to go into movies and such) and so I though maybe Null would be Sylvia. because Jeanine—Baldi—is stuck in Sylvia's home until she comes back. and gets depressed. and almost kills herself (but doesnt!) ok ⬇️

That song i just mentioned where Jeanine almost kills herself is called Crushed Out on Soda Beach, and is my favorite song in the album. this song is also nulldi. so im gonna quickly analyze it. the song is in Jeanine's pov, in this case Baldi.

quickly would like to mention suicidal baldi. "i tried just burning the whole thing to the ground today. but decisiveness is such a foreign tennant to my psyche. i violently and immediately began to reject it." but not very important to the rest of this

"i danced with yu in a nightmare, i was dragging yu across the floor " / "i could hardly stand under the weight of my little crush on yu. and yu so limp in my arms hardly helped, so, all that i could do... was collapse... under yu." <- i think this is self explanitory. null is "dead" (not really, but the same jist). im bad at explaination im so sorry im tired. i will persist anyways. the song transitions from there to something lighter? not happy, but like. uhhhm. relief? i think it is implied that Sylvia comes back here. Null does not. but. "yu called my bluff, i love yu too much. would yu please stay with me? cuz after all is said and done, i need yu here. stay with me. i showed my hand and i dont give a damn. shut the door. stay with me. cuz after all is said and done, i need yu here..."
