I have been dying to draw Rose from the moment I started reading this fanfic but every sketch i drew didn't seem to be the right one. So a couple of days ago, I was scrolling through Pinterest ,for an hour or so, to try and find inspiration, when i came across a picture of a magazine cover of different characters from the hunger games movie (Effie, Katniss, Peeta, Haymitch etc.). So, I decided to put the characters from the HR x HG fanfic in this type of magazine covers and the first one is Rose Landry! I took a lot of inspiration from paledyingrose's account on Pinterest, where she has the aesthetics of each character in her fanfics. So first and foremost, i put Rose in a long, pink skirt and pink layered top. The outfit is relatively simple but still fashionable and detailed enough for her style. I gave her gold jewellery (my personal favourite is the ones on her eyelids). She has long eyelashes (fake ones probably) similar to the ones Effie had in her last scene when she's saying goodbye to Katniss in the fourth movie. Her hair is red-pink because.... well why not it suits her but also because in every scene she has in HR, her hair just looks more red, at least to me, sooo yeah. Lastly, I gave her some tattoos on her shoulders that extend to the side of her torso to resemble the twigs of a rose (or smth like that) and a small heart tattoo on her right cheek under the eye. I hope you like my design of our dear, sweet Rose and (please) tell me what character you want you want to see next (mainly because I am a very indecisive person and I don't know who I want to draw) ;))

This is another fanart that I made for the hunger games x hollanov fanfic, because l keep finding myself thinking about it all the time! This fanart is actually from the last part of the latest chapter which is the 25th one(iykyk). As always the chapter was a masterpiece and I enjoyed reading it soo much! Unfortunately though, the 25th chapter is going to be the last one for quite some time as the creator ,paledyingrose, has decided to stop posting for a little while ,due to some issues ,and to focus more on her mental health ( if you want to know more go to her page where she talks about it). Honestly, while I completely understand and respect her decision, I can't say that I am not devastated by these news, not only because she won't be posting more updates and chapters for now ;but also because I can't even imagine under how much pressure she was to try and satisfy everyone, for her to need to take a long break from the fandom. So, I decided to start drawing more fanart from her fanfics to fill in the void that this hiatus has already started to create and to show my support and love to rose! I love her and her creations soo freaking much and I will miss her, but I will be here, waiting and if these drawings help her then I will keep on creating them( also please know that because she has hidden her fanfics in ao3 and i can’t read them, I will be taking a lot of creative liberties cause I can’t remember everything but I will try my best to make them as true to the descriptions she used as possible!) I hope you like it!!!;)

Recently, I found out about this amazing hollanov x hunger games fanfic and I immediately fell in love with it. Ilya Rosanov is District one’s “ golden boy” and Shane Hollander is District two’s “ bullseye” and they are enemies to lovers. I love this fanfic soooo much, the characters are very well-written and the author was able to capture the hunger games feeling perfectly. Her work honestly helped me get over my art block and it inspired me to draw this book cover for it. While I was reading it, I felt like my emotions were on a rollercoaster cause they went from happy to scared to exited to crying my eyes out( and basically I am still stuck in the last emotion and I have a feeling that I will be staying there for quite a few more chapters). Anyway, I totally recommend it and I want to thank paledyingrose ( the author) for creating such a masterpiece.
